SABO is a Dj internationally known for the last 14 years for his signature "funky music to make you feel good" style, which is a rhythmic combination of House, Latin, Brazilian, Afrobeat, Disco, Reggae, Cumbia, Dub, Miami Bass, Hip Hop, and Tropical Bass. SABO was nominated in 2006 to URB"s "Next 100", and has also been featured and mentioned on popular websites and in magazines like Rolling Stone, The Fader, XLR8R, Generation Bass, Frank 151, Groovailizacion, Mundovibe, RE:UP, and Ghetto BassQuake. After an 18-year career in Spain and Europe, DJ. Turmix packed up his records from Barcelona and hit the NYC scene. A few years later he has already played with well-known local DJs at some of citys hippest nightspots. Officially Sponsored by FANIA RECORDS, he is a vinyl collector and specialist in Boogaloo & Latin Soul from the 60s. Turmix also spins music for cocktails at corporate events and sets for the dancefloor that take fans on a journey through jazz, swing, latin, soul, funk & disco boogie mixed up with a groovy touch of electronic rhythms like Nu Funk, Big Beat, Booty Breaks, Mash Up's...
